I found this collection of cat poems one night as I was cruising the internet. They made me smile – they’re not knee-slappingly funny, just gentle, wry observations about cats and cat ownership. Except for one, the authors and the poems were quite unfamiliar to me (and indeed a couple are by that well known writer, Anonymous), but it’s the final two poems in this little collection that are, well, extraordinary. They’re written by cats! Brave kitty Clementine wrote a heartfelt poem about her encounter with wildlife (“The Skunk”) and her little friend Pixel penned a short poem about something extraordinary she encountered out in her human’s garden one day (“Bubbles”). So come along and chuckle at the poems in this collection . . . I bet you’ll enjoy them as much as I did!
