Bruno, Smoke, Scamper, Patches, Butterscotch and Flicker recount for us their newly learned skills (cooking) and pastimes (knitting, old rock music); their kindness to neighbors; their fears; and their love and support for each other. Illustrated by gorgeous photos, these diary entries are by turn touching, terrifying and tender . . . much like diaries we would have written.
