Cat haiku? What? Can cats write haiku? Why not? They wrote poetry about the Pandemic in LOCKED DOWN and Pandemic diaries in APART TOGETHER. Evidently they can write anything they want to! Here 17 cats share their wry observations on dogs, birds, scratching posts, mice, showers, litterpans, and climbing the drapes. But they’ve chosen to express themselves in haiku – that classical Japanese poetic form of three lines: the first containing 5 syllables; the second 7; and the last 5 again. And no titles!
